As a health insurer, curating the best data about our provider partners (doctors and hospitals) is one of the challenges we face as we improve our provider networks. We rely on data feeds from the hospital systems and (thousands of) independent doctor offices we work with, but often that data is outdated, incomplete or incorrect. Solving this problem is actually more difficult than it sounds, and at its core, it is a reflection of the disorderliness and lack of ownership so pervasive in the healthcare system. At Oscar, we've built tools to help catch these issues, but we know there’s still room for improvement. And that’s where you come in.

This week, we launched a new feature that enables members to suggest edits to provider profiles. Did your doctor’s office move to a new location? Is a phone number wrong? Please let us know! We’re continuously reviewing and updating our network data and, with your help, we can improve the experience for all our members.
